The short version

Roo collects zero data. We have zero servers. We can't see your information even if we wanted to.

Data Collection

Everything you enter (baby profiles, rounds notes, weight entries, care team, appointments) is stored locally on your device only. Nothing is transmitted to us or anyone else.

Analytics & Tracking

None. No analytics, no tracking, no ads. We don't know how many people use the app or what they do with it.

Family Sharing (iOS)

On iOS, if you enable Family Sharing, your data syncs through your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit. It goes from your device to your iCloud to your partner's device. We never touch it. On Android, Roo does not sync anywhere; everything stays on your device.

Third Parties

Roo shares no data with third parties. On iOS, the app connects to no external services beyond Apple's iCloud (and only if you opt in to Family Sharing). On Android, the app connects to no external services at all.

Children's Privacy

Roo helps parents track their baby's care. It does not collect information from children. All data stays on the parent's device.

Data Deletion

Your data, your control. Delete a baby's profile in the app, or delete the app entirely. That's it. There's nothing on our end to remove.
